What we keep when you send us an episode, why, and how to have it deleted.

Who we are

Kerf is run by Revline Group Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales, number 17391117. We decide what happens to the details you give us on this site. Email [email protected] about anything on this page.

What we keep

When you send us an episode we keep the link you gave us, your email address and, if you add it, your show's name. We also keep the page that sent you here, any campaign tags in the link you followed, and a scrambled version of your IP address that we only use to stop spam.

Your episode

We open the link to download the recording and cut clips from it for you to tick. We don't publish, share or sell the recording or the clips, and we don't use them for anything else. Ask and we'll delete them.

Cookies and tracking

The cookie banner asks before anything that is not needed to run the page. If you say yes, we measure visits and sign-ups, and we may use the Meta pixel so we can tell which ads bring people here. If you say no, none of that runs.

Why, and on what basis

We use your details to cut the episode you asked us to cut, run the beta and get in touch about it. You asked us to, so it is in your interest and ours.

Where it is kept

Details are stored with Cloudflare in Western Europe and in the customer system Revline runs for Kerf, which is hosted by HighLevel. Recordings are kept on Revline's own servers while we cut them. Each acts on our instructions. We do not sell your details or pass them to anyone else.

How long

We keep your details for 12 months after the beta ends, and your recording only as long as it takes to cut and send your clips, unless you ask us to delete either sooner.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of what we hold, ask us to correct it or delete it, or object to how we use it. Email [email protected] and we will reply within a month. If you are unhappy with how we handled it, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
